Posted 1/7/08 Rules classes for new umpires or anyone who would like to
brush up on the rules for 2008, will start Sunday, the 13th, at 6:00 PM in
room 131, Saunders Field House, MSC. Study sessions are under the
direction of John Leane. John will have a few sets of books for new
umpires.

Attached are the dates that will be used for meetings and training exercises by our organization for the Spring of 2008. Please note the dates of the Plate Mechanics Clinics at Gene Taylor's prior to the beginning of the season and the Field Clinic on Wednesday evening, March 12. PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS.
The State Master Clinic will be held again at Thornton HS (note the date
on your calendar) and the Western Slope Master Clinic, tentatively set
for Mesa State College, Sunday, February 24.
Your help in recruiting new umpires will be greatly appreciated. Please
have any persons interested in joining our organization contact me
immediately. Again, rules classes will he held in January and early
February for new umpires to assist them in preparing for the test and
for veteran umpires who would like a little rules review prior to the
beginning of the season.
IF YOU HAVEN'T PAID YOUR DUES, PLEASE DO SO AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO THAT
YOU CAN GET YOUR RULES BOOKS PRIOR TO JANUARY.
